Sustainability
Sustainable, Earth Friendly Fabrics
We use certified OEKOTEX 100 Standard vegan laces and our wonderful European suppliers are certified with OEKOTEX STeP (Sustainable Textile Production) confirming sustainable processes for each production step and meeting the requirements of 6 modules: chemicals, environmental performance, environmental management, social responsibility, quality management and safety.
They also use eco-friendly dyes and a special machine to dye the laces which means water consumption is up to 80% less compared to conventional ways.
Material content varies per lace - if you would like to know about a specific lace please email us.
All the laces in our Kaleidoscope collection are made from the world's first eco-stretch recycled yarn.
Our beautiful, quality, organic jersey cotton is sourced from a small family business in England that work with GOTS certified mills in India and Turkey.
Organic means that the cotton is grown without the use of harmful pesticides, using pheromone traps, crop rotation, hand picking of bugs and natural repellents.
This allows farmers to grow food and keep animals instead of being reliant on costly chemicals and fertilisers. They receive more for their crop and the input costs are lower and the fabrics will be pesticide-free.
All the organic cotton underwear we work with is beautiful quality - 95% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton, 5% Elastane, and is OEKO-TEX Certified too.
In the summer we run a limited-edition collection of quality linen pieces. Linen is a gorgeous natural fabric that's super durable and is sustainable to grow and produce. We're proud to be working with a talented local Sussex dyer who creates the most gorgeous colourways!

In the winter we produce limited-edition collections of upcycled cashmere underwear and accessories. We source our vintage cashmere from a local vintage seller. With around 700,000 tonnes of clothing and textiles discarded each year in the UK alone, it’s important to find ways to keep fashion and textiles in the loop and re-use existing materials wherever we can! We’re super excited to be able to transform deadstock fabrics into gorgeous new creations.

Our Partners
We try to source our fabrics and packaging as locally as possible working with suppliers who share our values around environmental and social responsibility and empowerment.
Zero-Waste Fabric
Capsule collection and limited edition. We're committed to being as low waste as possible. We buy all our fabrics in small batches and in limited edition runs so we don’t end up with any excess.
Plastic Free Packaging
Every order comes wrapped in tissue paper with a handwritten postcard, sealed with a paper sticker, inside a cardboard postage box. We care about our impact on the planet. All of our packaging can be reused, recycled or composted and we're always looking for new ways that we can develop further in this area.
Made In The UK
Supporting the local community and economy is so important to me. We work as locally as possible and make all of our undies in house. Meet our talented seamstresses and the rest of our team on our 'Meet The Team' page. Everyone in the team is paid a Brighton and Hove living wage. Making in the UK also means that we are reducing air miles too!
Made To Order
To prevent waste we avoid a surplus of unsold stock by making most of our lingerie sets to order. Because we’re a small business and each set is made by hand it can take up to two weeks for us to make and send out your set, but we think it’s worth it.
Circular Economy
Every last scrap of production ‘waste’ is recycled - any smaller fabric pieces left over from production are saved and sold as craft kits or used to make our small accessories. We also use surplus organic cotton fabric from our own production and another local fashion brand to make the gussets of our lace undies too.
Our Sustainability Journey
As a small business, we have also had a low impact, and have been working with predominantly reclaimed fabrics since the beginning. As we have grown and become more aware of the environmental impacts of the fashion industry and the climate and ecological crisis, we have continued to prioritise sustainability and planet-friendly practices throughout our supply chain. We have evolved a lot as a business over the last few years and we are still learning! We are always on the lookout for sustainable material innovations or packaging alternatives that will help us reduce impact.
